Curriculum Investigation Brief
My Country
How we see the country in which we live is very personal and
individual. In this project, children give their own perspective on
where they live. The places that are special to them may not be on a
map or in a guide book. Through this project, SchoolNet Global
students tell us just what is special about their country and what
they would like to change. They are encouraged to report on the views
of relatives, friends or other members of the community at home or in
another country, helping them to understand what is valuable and to
understand where a difference can be made.
Discovering a country through the eyes of children will provide a
unique insight for children all over the world, helping to develop
better international and intercultural understanding.
