The interviewee
is years old and tells us about a game played when aged .
My favourite school playground game:
Hopscotch
Hopscotch is a game played on a grid of 12 squares drawn on the ground, 4 going up and 3 going across . All the squares are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4 going up the first column, then across to the column 5, 6, 7, 8 going down that column, across to the last column and 9, 10, 11, 12 going up that column.
First you have to find a stone and place it in front of the square number 1, then stand on one leg and kick it into square number 1, then hop into that square, kick it into number 2, then hop into 2, kick it to 3 and so on. If you get to the end without breaking the rules you win.
If there are more then 1 player you keep on playing until everyone breaks a rule except one person, that person is the winner.
The rules are: 1. You need to be on one leg when you kick the stone. 2. The stone's not allowed to touch the lines.
