Historic Trees

After planting the Longwood Gardens Redwood Tree At Worcester Prep we try to plant trees on the campus every year. Sometimes these trees and markers for them are donated to us by the Levin Winder Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. We have trees that are descendents of the trees at Mount Vernon, where George Washington, our first president, live, and from the biggest oak in American, the Wye Oak. This year we planted the Wye Oak and also a Longwood Gardens redwood tree for the Spirit of Trees.
