One of Mr. Jones' favourite pastimes. About Barry Jones MP: Barry Jones is an MP. He is the member of parliament for Alyn and Deeside. Buckley is the biggest town in Deeside and Mr Jones is always pleased to visit the town. He always feels welcome especially at our school. We asked Mr Barry Jones MP a number of questions about his life. Mr Jones is a very busy man. Sometimes he feels that the telephone and door bell never stop ringing. There is always someone who needs his help. When they do, however, Mr Jones, likes to spend his precious leisure time walking and visiting art galleries with his wife. He especially enjoys visiting the Lady Beaver Gallery in Port Sunlight. Mr Jones thinks it is a delightful place. He gets out his glasses so he can have a good look at the paintings. Then he goes downstairs to enjoy a cake and a cup of coffee and have a browse in the shop. He also enjoys watching football. Although his favourite team, Everton, do not give him as much pleasure as they used to!! He also likes to watch cricket. The weekend before we interviewed him Mr Jones had managed to grab a few hours for himself. On Saturday he had visited his favourite art gallery and on Sunday he had gone walking in the park twice. I'm a member of parliament for Alyn and Deeside. which I've been doing for 30 years Working Time: Barry Jones MP gets up at 06.45, starts work at 08.00 and goes to bed at 00.00 Where do you spend most of your day? Barry Jones MP spends most of the day in the workplace How does Barry Jones MP use technology in a normal day? I use the telephone and fax machine to help me with my work. Leisure: Barry Jones MP spends 7 Hours on a favourite leisure pursuit, which is "walking" What different kinds of work has Barry Jones MP done? Teaching, organising government and parliament.
