Your Guide to the World.
Albert Dock
by Dean Taylor (15) and Marie (16)

Mersey View School

My favourite place:
Maritime museum

Where it is:
The Albert Dock

Nearest town or village:
Liverpool

About Maritime museum:
The Maritime Museum has many exhibitions about man and the sea. It has many interesting exhibitions such as emigration, slavery, custom and excise andthe Second World War

Three things I like:
1 The museum has a very large collection of model ships., The ships range from dugout canoes, sailing ships, steam power ships and ocean liners.

2 The Titanic Exhibition. This contains a 15 foot model of the Titanic, pieces of furniture
from its sister ships, lots of photographs of the ship and a collection of artefacts belonging
to the passengers found on the ship.

3 The Ship Shape exhibition. Here you can experiment to find out how to load a ship and to discover what is the best shape for a ships hull.

One thing I would change:
Make it free to get in.
