'Keeping Monto Corno Natural Park Living since 1970' by Salorno school in Italy

Learniing How to Plant the Saplings Every two years in Spring, pupils from Scuola Elementare G. Verdi - Salorno (IC Bassa Atesina) go into our natural park Monto Corno and plant a lot of young pines and firs, so that our woods will continue living....this is our part in the 'Spirit of the Trees 2012' project. This has been taking places since a long time ago (in the 1970's) and every two year the children of 4th ann 5th grade of our school and the German-speaking school, that we link with, gather together for a whole day of planting saplings in the forest . This is after having worked together throughout the schoolyear about tree life and so on. Here are some pictures of the pupils with their teachers, the rangers, the mayor and the council members.
