We have worked extensively with Childnet International and the National Grid for Learning NGFL Superhighway Safety to ensure that children who publish to the web using SchoolNet Global are protected. There are three levels of approval: Only approved schools can publish pages on SchoolNet Global. Teachers approve all pages prior to submission. Pages submitted for publication are approved again by SchoolNet Global mediators prior to publication. Stephen Carrick-Davies is the Development Director of Childnet International. He says, "It is always a challenge for teachers to find good, safe international online resources through which pupils can connect with other children and publish their work online. SchoolNet Global's environment gives teachers good safety advice, curriculum content and tools by which they can produce their pupils work for others to see.
