At the heart of SchoolNet Global are the highly motivating Home & School Projects, which encourage children to work at home and school, alone or collaboratively, under the sympathetic leadership of their parents and teachers.
They write creatively about their own lives, their homes, their interests, their wild ideas, hopes and dreams and how they will make the world a better place.
They interview friends, neighbours, parents and grandparents and capture the oral history of families and communities throughout thousands of villages and towns around the world. They might talk to older people to find out their "Earliest Childhood Memories", or meet people in a variety of roles to find out about "A Day in the Life".
They can choose between 14 projects, all designed to help children build respect for themselves, their families, their communities and enhance their understanding of people of other generations, backgrounds and cultures - whether they live around the world or around the corner.
They go through the 5 Steps to Cyberspace - a simple process tested in over 18,000 schools and homes, that really helps them learn.
