About Jim Wallace:
When we went to see Jim Wallace in the Scottish Parliament Chambers we asked him the following questions and these were his answers:


In our school the sports equipment is old and damaged. In your veiw could we have more funding?
Yes

Do you get on well with the other M.S.P.s?
Mostly.

Do you think your coalition with the Labour will be succesful?
Hope so............

What are you going to do for education in Scotland?
We are going to spend 80 million on education in Scotland.

What is more important to you being a Westminster MP or a MSP?
Being a Scottish MP. I'm not going to run for Westminster at the next elections.

What football team do you support?
Rangers.

What is your party going to do in the future to improve Scotland?
We want new standards for schools and to help cure the people who are ill.

Do you think Scotland can be an independent country in the future?
It can but I don't want to see it happen.

Do you think the Scottish Parliment will be a success?
Yes but there will be problems on the way. As well as lots of new opportunities.


Jim Wallace's Day
Jim Wallace answered the following questions about a typical day:

What do you do?
Member of Scottish Parliament and Minister of Justice

Working Time:
Jim Wallace gets up at 07:00, starts work at 07:15 and goes to bed at 00:00

Travelling:
Jim Wallace travels for 2.5 hours every day and travels 300 miles mostly by Car ( home by aeroplane)

Where do you spend most of your day?
Jim Wallace spends most of the day in the workplace (indoors) and meets around 11-50 people a day

How does Jim Wallace use technology in a normal day?
Jim Wallace has a PC at home. He also uses video conferencing to talk to the Highland islands.

Leisure:
Jim Wallace spends few Hours (it's not a lot!) on a favourite leisure pursuit, which is "golf, music and horse riding"

What different kinds of work has Jim Wallace done?
He has been a postman, clerk and a lawyer.

Jim Wallace is 44 years old
