Our favourite piece of writing. April Fool (poem) by Hal Summers Why I like April Fool (poem). It is a simple poem with simple stanzas. I like the descriptions he uses like ''The pigeon clapped his hands.'' Delicate daffodils sway gently in the, Cold bitter wind. Blossom like candy floss, Fall slowly onto the soft damp grass. Little lambs in the field walking around pointlessly. Showers, sunshine, what's the difference? First cut grass, clear skies, good weather, Dark skies, good weather. Dark skies, never! New plants, new animals, New weather, when spring starts we rejoice together. Some ideas for other authors Starter In the middle of the night I woke up!
