Life in the Future
"2050: Life in the Future"
by JennyB (11) Jennifer Bevan
May name is:
Jennifer Bevan
My age is:
11
This time-capsule will be buried for:
0 years.
Here's what I you think the future will be like. If you're reading this in my future you can see if I was right!
2050
My poem is about a future time And will tell the tale all in rhyme The year in question is fifty years on Assuming we have not been blown to bits by the Bomb.
Tablet form all food will be. Not on plates, no washing up you see. Life is hectic, but more time to rest. Using talking computers a real test.
Travelling away the whole world round. Speed exceeding ten times sound. Into space on huge great stations. Orbiting the planet with all Earth's nations.
Man on flights as far as Mars. Travelling on Earth in electric cars. Laser beams power new TV's. Not flat pictures but 3D.
A constant battle against pollution. To stop overpopulation no solution. Unless something's done and done soon Mankind is destined to a life of doom.
