My culture and traditions When we linked up to the Canadian children we found out that they have Hallowen just as we do. Also every year on the first of July they have Canada Day, this is slightly like St.Georges Day on April 23rd in England but they have fireworks and barbeques as well. When we talked to them there were a few problems with the sound being crackly but it was overall a good link up and we could see them very well. In Canada there were around 4 people talking to us, we had around 10 people. We had a time difference of 8 hours so we had to wait until 16:30. The children at Doncaster school in Canada had come in early, it was only 08.30 there! Overall we had a great time and it worked out very well.
