My country
Finland is the name of my country and I live in Kirkkonummi. It is really close to the Finnish Sugar Factory and has a forest near it. Most of Finland is covered in Forest land. It is a very natural country and is very different to Belgium. In winter time it is much colder and has only got a population of 5 million as Belgium has 10,2 million. Helsinki is the capital of Finland but there are quiet a few other larger cities like Turku or Tampere. The others ones are small so thgey are not that popular but Oulu is pretty popular. Oulu is in the north, Helsinki in the south, Turku South west and Tampere sort of in the middle of the south and west.

Things I like about living in this country:
The calm winters because you can go cross-country skiing and you ski through the forest and see the squirels scattering by.
The good theme parks. For eample Särkäniemi or Linnanmäki, well those are the only two we,ve been to but we have been to a little childrens park called Puuhamaa. It had a water park with it too.
The Peaceful Lakes and forests because there aren't that many people living in Finland so there you can go on quiet strolls through the paths in the forests and I love the lakes because you can go for a quiet swim in them and then run into the sauna, and if it's cold enough at winter you can go ice-skating on the lake.

Some natural features of this country:
There is a lake near the forest which is very near the place where I live. There is a sugar factory at the edge of the lake where my Grandad used to work until he retired.
There is a forest near the lake where i go jogging or with our neighbours we go and find a secret hide out where we play games and stuff like that.
There are a lot of hilly parts so its not a completely flat piece of land, as we live on the top of a hill and when we ride our bikes we go down hill and when we take our dogs for a walk we go around the big hill and come back home.

Some things have changed since I was born
The sugar factory broke down and that is the only sugar factory in the whole of Finland. There was no sugar for half a year because it was being repaired. It broke down because of a machine failiure at the part where they make bags. An other change in history has been that the president hs changed from Martti Oiva Kalvi Ahtisaari to Tarja Kaarina Halonen.

If you came to visit me, I would show you interesting places.
WhereI live because I want them to see my home and home area. I also want them to see my secret hide out and my best friends who are my neighbours.
To my summer cottage where my grandparents live in the summer and sometimes winter. We could go swimming in the river where we have a dock so you can dive in. We can also go shopping in Pori which isnt very far off.

What I could do to make this country a better place for everyone
Nothing. I think it is fine as everyone has enough space and nature has a lot of space as well.69% of Finland is covered ny forests so nature has most of the land. It isn't polluted either, well I don't think so but once there was a terrorist attack and people where injured, so in future I would try to stop the attacks but they are hard to stop anyway.
